Landlord Restores Heat After Kitty’s Complaint

After three days in a chilly apartment, a cat named Scout filed a formal grievance with his landlord, threatening to withhold January’s rent if the heat was not turned back on.

“He was clinging to the radiator, trying to squeeze every last bit of warmth out of that thing,” says Josh Teller, Scout’s roommate. “Eventually, he just had enough and had to go crack some skulls.”

The threat worked, and the landlord hired a plumber to look into the issue. Sources tell The Fluffington Post that heat was restored in about 20 minutes.
